With defined quality processes and clear standards, we ensure that your orders are handled reliably, transparently, and confidentially.

Documentation and traceability

Each delivery is accompanied by an order summary containing the relevant process and order parameters. This ensures transparent documentation of the key information related to the processing performed.

Traceability is provided as standard at customer and lot level. If a project requires more detailed traceability, this can be extended to individual sample ID level upon request. This enables us to support both research and development projects and industrial applications with enhanced documentation and traceability requirements.

Reliability and data confidentiality

Reliable processes, traceable documentation, and the professional handling of sensitive customer projects are essential requirements for industrial services in ion technology.

HZDR Innovation GmbH has been ISO 9001 certified for its ion technology business area since 2015, combining defined quality processes with extensive experience in managing national and international projects. From traceability and separate processing of customer samples to export and import procedures, including customs processing under inward processing arrangements, we provide the organizational framework required for the secure and traceable handling of your orders.

Confidential handling of customer projects

For confidential projects, we offer a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) as a standard option. In addition, samples and wafers from different customers are stored and processed separately. This ensures clear organizational separation between individual customer orders.

Do you offer process development?

Based on your specified implantation and irradiation parameters, we support you in optimizing and implementing ion implantation and irradiation processes with the aim of improving the desired process results. We contribute our extensive expertise in ion technology throughout the process.

Can you support us in selecting suitable process parameters?

Based on your requirements and specifications, we advise you on the selection of suitable process parameters and assess their technical feasibility. Together with you, we define the appropriate parameters based on the material, sample geometry, and desired process objective. Evaluation of device properties and interpretation of the results remain the responsibility of the customer.

Do you offer electrical characterization?

Electrical, optical, and material characterization is performed by the customer or through external partners.

How are customer samples handled?

Samples and wafers from different customers are stored and processed separately. Traceability is provided at customer and lot level and, upon request, can also be provided at individual sample ID level.

How are deviations documented?

Deviations are documented as standard, for example using incident forms. Customer complaints are handled according to a standardized 8D process.
