This year’s DPG Spring Meeting of the Condensed Matter Section (SKM) in Regensburg once again provided an excellent platform for fostering exchange between science and industry. As a technology transfer company in the high-tech sector, HZDR Innovation GmbH was present to showcase innovative technologies closely tied to applied physics to an international audience.
Our booth highlighted four developments with significant application potential:
– Portable Pulse Micro Magnet (PPMM), developed at the Max Planck Institute (MPI)
– ROTAX, a system for high-precision sample positioning
– Tensormeter, for precise measurement of material stresses
– Helium Management System, now part of our portfolio through collaboration with the Helmholtz Center Berlin (HZB)
Participating in the SKM meeting not only enabled us to present market-ready technologies but also offered opportunities for direct engagement with researchers on current scientific trends and technological challenges. For us, the DPG meeting is a key driver of innovation, particularly through product-related research, community feedback, and inspiration for future product development.
Another highlight: HZDR Innovation continues to expand its portfolio, now representing not only spin-offs and developments from HZDR but also selected high-tech innovations from other research institutions. We are proud to have strong transfer partners such as HZB and MPI by our side.
Finally, the event in Regensburg was a logistical success – an ideal setting for intensive discussions, new connections, and inspiring exchanges between science and industry.
