Insights into trends in power electronics

Last week, HZDR Innovation GmbH participated as an exhibitor at the APEC Conference in San Antonio, Texas — marking our first time attending the world’s leading event for power electronics.

With around 5,100 attendees, the conference and exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to gain up-to-date insights into current trends and developments in power electronics. Particularly exciting were the many contributions and discussions on the role of power electronics in next-generation data centers for AI applications.

Beyond gaining valuable insights, we were also proud to contribute: Dr. Thoralf Gebel presented our capabilities and offerings in high-energy ion implantation for power semiconductors. At our booth, we had many engaging conversations with industry representatives, exchanging experiences and building new connections.

For us, this was a truly inspiring milestone — and we are already looking forward to continuing the dialogue!
